🦅🎶Recently, we had two students participate in a talent expo representing their church. Attalisa Radford and Hickari Hammond competed in the vocal music category, both placing first in their division. Both girls qualified to compete in the national talent expo in St. Louis, Missouri, this summer.

School will not be in session for the remainder of the week due to illness among students and faculty. These days will not be virtual; no work will be sent home. This will allow your students and our teachers the time they need to recover from the various illnesses they have encountered. We will also have custodians on site tomorrow, deep cleaning and sanitizing the entire campus. Although the largest percentage of absences is in the elementary school, the overall school absenteeism is at a record high for this flu and cold season. We have monitored numbers closely, trying to avoid a school closure, but we must take the health and wellness of all students and faculty into consideration. This decision was not made lightly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

🦅🏀Falcon Family: Give it up for New Lima Falcons 5/6 grade 2nd place gold bracket winners for Tri-County! Great job boys! 👏
REMINDER!!! Our PreK through 2nd grade will be playing basketball again at Justice on Monday, March 2. Game times will be the same as last week. Please arrive 20 minutes before game time. PreK will need to wear a gray shirt and dark shorts. All other grades will get their shirts from their teachers at the gym. Transportation will be the responsibility of the parent. Come out and support our littlest falcons!!!
🦅🐷💋Falcon Family: We kissed a pig today for FFA week!
Our FFA group distributed jars to each teacher and administrator's room or office at the beginning of the week. Whomever's jar had the most money at the end of the week had to kiss the pig.Mrs. Snodgrass was our lucky winner!
FFA also accepted donations in bags labeled with officers' names and the bag that had the most money was the officer that had to kiss the pig. Our lucky officer was Jaidyn Hinton!
🦅📚These JH & HS students were rewarded for earning the most AR points and having the highest test average on AR tests for the year by going to Shawnee Bowl today!
