Due to the incoming severe weather with a tornado threat. New Lima Schools will be starting at 10 am. this morning. There will be no breakfast service today. Busses will be delayed by around 2 hours. All scheduled activities after 10 am will continue as scheduled.
Due to the weather forecast, the field trip to the zoo has been canceled. Considering this is the second time to cancel, teachers have decided to opt for an indoor field trip. Once arrangements have been made, information will be sent home with your child. Look in your child's Monday folder for more information.
🦅New Lima's November board meeting will be Monday, Nov. 18th @6:30 in Mrs. Barkhimer's office.

All cheer participants will dance to the song "9 to 5" by Dolly Parton instead of grades 3-6 dancing to "Hoedown Throwdown".
They need to wear their shirt and bandana as a handkerchief, and if they have the pink cowboy hat to wear it as well.
Participants need to be there by 5:45 pm and performance will be at 6 pm sharp in the high school gym.

If your student is interested in purchasing a Letter Jacket, a rep will be on campus Thursday, Nov. 21st at 1pm to take orders and answer any questions. Please note that this is not a New Lima fundraiser and the price will vary based on what you put on the jacket. Forms with pricing will be available in my office for anyone that is interested. All jackets must be paid in full at the time they are ordered. Payment options include cash, check, or credit card.

🦅Our first Engineering Design Fair was a great success! Congratulations to our winners who will advance to the State Engineering Design Fair in Oklahoma City at The Science Museum Oklahoma. Thank you to all the Falcon Family that showed up to support our kids!
The server at the school has been damaged due to the recent storms. This is creating intermittent Internet issues. The phones are now Internet based and also are being affected. We are working to fix the issue. For non-emergency issues you can email high school information to sketcher@newlima.k12.ok.us, elementary issues email to egriffis@newlima.k12.ok.us.
